INTRODUCTION I am the oldest child of four brothers and one "baby" sister. I have two terrific boys from a previous marriage of 18 years: Jacob and Kyle. I married Patti Matz in 2002 - a good friend of 25 years, with whom we had kept in touch through the years. Patti worked in electronic pre-press (printing industry) for over 25 years. After a successful battle with breast cancer, Patti decided to give up the high-stress printing industry to manage a local coffee shop. More recently, Patti has driven a school bus for the Stillwater school district and is now the Payroll and Accounting admin for the MN-Central School Bus Company. Patti is also a highly regarded umpire for college and high school women's fast-pitch softball; she has umpired many MN state high school women's fast-pitch championship tournaments. WEDDING

I enjoy teaching, coaching and mentoring young engineers and business professionals. Other local past times include the St Paul winter carnival, MN Renaissance Festival, Como Park zoo, the MN Zoo, the Science Museum, and the Brainerd, MN lakes area. A couple years ago, Patti and I bought into the BlueGreen Vacation Club - we have been traveling and vacationing more in Florida and the Caribbean. Our favorite destination and possible retirement home is Key West, FL, or Scottsdale, AZ, or maybe Santa Fe, NM.... who knows?!. In December 2009 we traded our BlueGreen timeshare for membership in ExoticTravelers . Favorite St Paul area restaurants: Forepaugh's, Mancini's, Pazzaluna, The Happy Gnome, W.A. Frost, Yarusso's.
